Yeah, don't spill it.

Follow the directions on the bottle and you will be fine. Most importantly:

Clean the trim thoroughly before application.

Apply sparingly using suede cloth or similar. Porous foam will soak up too much product.

Don't forget to gently wipe trim afterwards to avoid streaking.

Dlux is a fantastic product.

I knocked over my bottle of C4 once and lost half of it.

Clean thoroughly for best longevity

Apply APC liberally & scrub thoroughly with MF

Rinse thoroughly with a hose

IPA wipe down, just to be sure all surfactants from the APC are gone

Make sure the area, including adjacent cracks is totally dry

On pebble grain plastic, I do not go back over it after application

On smooth trim, if it looks level and streak free, I do not wipe after application. I found that streaking is causes by trying to use too little product

Great Stuff

What will you do with the extra time you save not having to dress trim after every wash?

I guess clean the dreaded interior.

Can this be used on the rubbery trim around the Windows

I just read Bobby g's review. He mentioned giving it a 24 hour cure time. What if I apply in the morning and gets morning dew the following morning. Wipe it down, will it be fine

I would use 1Z Gummi Pfledge for this area instead

I agree not the Dlux on softer rubber, but I use WETS for the exterior rubber.

Interior seals like doors, trunk lid, etc. I like the Gummi Pfledge as it's not even a hint of oily.

I bought cheaper wheels from tire rack for the winter. What do you think would happen if I used this on them. Think it might work?

Dlux has a drip style spout. Like you I laid my C4 bottle on the ground and kicked it over and lost half of it.

Exactly! I'd like to know this too... What happens if the trim collects dew during the night.

Nothing. Once you set this stuff down its like iron in 10 mins. Good luck ever getting it off.
