Hey guys,

I have been lurking for the past few weeks and finally decided to join this incredible forum full of information. I used to think that a simple coat of turtle wax once a year was plenty of protection for my vehicles... needless to say i have been enlightened.

I currently drive a brand new 2015 Duramax (what led me here) and also tend to be the one who cares for my families vehicles as well (parents, grandparents, wife, etc). I have already learned a ton from this website and really appreciate all of the incredible information here.

I have plenty of questions, but for the sake of introductions only I will post them elsewhere. I will add that if you have any recommendations for protecting the new pickup please feel free to post up. My current plan is as follows:

-Klasse AIO, KSG (2 coats), and Pinnacle Souveran for the paint
- Tuf Shine for the tires
- Pinnacle window coating for all windows
- Wolfgang trim sealant for all black trim
- Klasse SG for the wheels as well.

welcome to the forum duramax! I'll let some of the vets on here chime in with answers to your questions.

Good luck!

Are you going to clay the paint & windows before you start polishing/waxing? BTW, welcome neighbor.

Yes, i do plan to clay the paint and windows before coatings, guess i forgot to add that step in there (should be assumed right? :xyxthumbs:). I have been debating whether i should use clay or grab a nanoskin product since i have a few other vehicles in my queue as well. thoughts?

I am impressed by all of the people who stopped by just to say hello. Thanks for the welcoming guys and girl.

Haven't used nanoskin, don't know how it is.

I used clay until I used Nanoskin, which is much easier & faster to use (I use on PC). Where in CO are you?

I'm just south of you, down here in Pueblo.
