Here is my car. Its a 1987 Buick Regal Turbo T. It has the legendary Buick Turbo V6 under the hood. Its my baby it doesnt get driven too much it just lives a nice quiet little life in the shop. I probably drive it 4 or 5 times a month and I enter it in car shows around where I live. This was my first detail job on it before I even had the good stuff I have now from AG. I hope it meets approval and any advice for improvements are welcome.

Nice, Did you ever get that thing hooked up to a dyno. What HP/TQ are we talking about here.

Yeah it will flat out move. It will open the eyes of any body who listens to it because sitting and idling and with exhaust dump open it sounds like a racecar and then I pop the hood and its only a 6 cylinder. Its amazing how many people still dont know about the Buicks with the bulge on the hood.
Best 1/4 mile time = 10.78 @ 125 mph
Best estimates for power
Rear Wheel HP = 565 hp
Rear Wheel TQ = 750 ft/lb
Flywheel HP = somewhere between 700 and 750 hp

very nice #s there. Ya start a thread on a detailing forum about a car with M/T ET streets on the back, and look at the discussion you get:righton:

Yeah its amazing how any discussion about the turbo buicks turn to speed and horsepower no matter how nice they look. I did win my class at the last car show I entered so I guess it looks good too. I did like that part of the judging at that show was starting the car up and letting the judges listen to it. Im proud of it and will be doing some more work under the hood for appearance and work on the paint with a much higher quality wax. There is a contest online that I am going to enter I will post more pics when I have it ready for that one.

Man, that was one heck of a car back in the day. That was the only car that could out run my Mustang back then... It was a GN type....
Brother you got an awesome car there, hold on to it!!!

We had an 86 GN for years, with a different downpipe, exhaust, and chip it ran mid 12's all day on street tires. Reliable to boot, and scared many a Vette. I still can close my eyes and hear that unique Turbo spool up.

If you collect diecast memorabila, I highly suggest looking for the GMP/Peachstate Turbo Buick Collection. One just like yours is available.
