I am in the need to get a new camera, I am in between two. Was curious if anyone has either, I know we have a couple photographers in here and semi pro's.
Let me know if you have any feedback, I am in between a Nikon D200 SLR and a Fuji S5 Pro SLR.
Thanks!:grouphug:

Well its kinda like private labeling, they are both really Nikon from what I hear anyway. Just a matter of which one is more functional.

I am having trouble comparing the 2 as I find it hard to find info on the fuji.

Go with the Nikon D200 SLR.

And I will take your old one, since you are just going to let it collect dust:p

You can't go wrong with Nikon, I have a D40 and it is a wonderful camera, my father was big into profesional underwater photography for awhile, and regular photography his whole life, and he swears by Nikon, theyve always been the best.

That being said, I have heard that the Cannon offerings in the digital SLR stuff is excellent as well.

My sister had a cheaper point and shoot digital Fuji camera, I was not impressed with the quality of it.

Nikon has the better optics of any 35 Mil camera except for Leica Camera's. You get what you pay for in Nikon.

Nikon.

You will not be dissapointed.

Fuji's aren't really Nikons, just the bodies are made by Nikon. I'm pretty sure the important parts like the sensors are Fuji's.

Keep the Canon in mind as well, but out of those two I would go with the Nikon!

If your only looking at those two, then go with the Nikon, otherwise look for a comparable Cannon. Use

PriceGrabber.com - Comparison Shopping Beyond Compare (http://www.pricegrabber.com)

You can search alot quicker between models there, plus get the best price.

why not get a big pad of paper and some markers? That way you can put your personal touch on everything
