I recently placed an order for some menzerna products specifically the pf1000, 2500, and 4000. I finally got a chance to use them on my new to me 2002 porsche 996 turbo and all I can say is wow. I previously used 1z products for 12 years on my newly purchased boxster, but I babied the paint so it never needed much more. My turbo on the other hand had neglected paint with tons of swirls when I first bought it. Claying the car and then polishing with 1z paint polish and metalic polish helped clean up the paint, but there were still swirls, just deeper. I polished a little more than half the car with the 2500 and 4000 product and I removed just about all the swirls. There are a few deeper scratches on some panels that didn't come out but not many. The 4000 polish also cleared up some haze that was in the paint. I then cleaned it with squeaky clean and coated it with do enviroshield. I can wait to see it in the daylight, but under my led and halogen spotlights it looked great. I love these new products as I have much less time to detail the car with the exception of washes from time to time and am glad I can get away with waxing every year.

One comment I had is that I appear to be using to much menzerna polish. How much to you guys use and how long do you work it in a panel. Also I used a white smart pad with the 2500 and a gray pad with the 4000. Do you guys recommend using different pads. I plan to try the 1000 on my wheels and on the headlights.

I too love Menzerna!!

Please post pictures. Would love to see the paint!

You never mentioned what tool you are using Menzerna with but I use them with the Flex machines. Below are two articles I put together when using this polish. The bulk of the info is in the first link.

Here are a few pictures. You cant really see the difference, but now the metallic paint pops more in the sun. It was overcast today so i didn't get great shots.

I also have to take the front bumper off and spray the grills. The plastic looks terrible after 12 years.

Try Solution Finish or Black a Wow Pro in them. They're plastic iirc, right?

I'll second the Black Wow Pro. It's a great product that if properly applied and cured, will provide a deep black, like new finish to the most UV degraded plastic for many months.

Ill look into black wow. It may be easier than removing the parts and spray painting with wurths satin paint.

I keep seeing and hearing great things about Menzerna. What pads did you use?
