On the set of My Classic Car with Dennis Gage for 2015 (http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/rough-draft/86007-set-my-classic-car-dennis-gage-2015-a.html)

Every TV show I've worked on has a professional make-up artist on staff. This is important because now days everyone is shooting using high definition cameras and EVERYTHING shows up! Plus high def cameras can make you look hot and sweaty even when you're not...

This is Carrie warming me over...

We shot 4 new episodes on Wednesday,

1. New Pinnacle Advanced Compound.
2. Autogeek's Detailing Boot Camp Classes.
3. The Kentucky Road Show Extreme Makeover on the 1974
4. My background and the journey I followed to get to where I'm at now in the detailing world.

This is me doing I always do with Nick, Yancy or Jeff is taking my picture...

Introducing Pinnacle Advanced Compound

For this segment we're going to introduce the new compound in the Pinnacle Natural Brilliance line and for this we needed a black car with swirls so Pat Reisinger, owner Reisinger Custom Rebuilding, LLC loaned us one of his personal cars as well as his Shop Manager Ty Hauer.

Here's the camera guys rolling the 1931 Ford Highboy onto the set. The floor is from RaceDeck (http://www.autogeek.net/racedeck-garage-floors.html) and earlier in the morning our good friend Jorgen Moller was here shooting two new episodes for 2015. I recommend the TuffShield version (http://www.autogeek.net/racedeck-tuffshield-floor.html) as it's easy to keep clean.

Some of the crew at My Classic Car, from left to right....

Brian is passenger side rear tire.
Mike the Grip is driver's side back tire.
Jon is passenger side front tire.
Jarod is driver's side front tire.

http://www.autogeekonline.net/gallery/watermark.php?file=83133

These pictures were taken with my trusty, dusty Canon and the camera guys also captured the swirls for the TV viewers when this episode air sometime in 2015

In the background you can see Dennis is standing next to the Highboy as we get ready to start filming...

Here's Dennis reflecting out of the swirly scratched-up paint...

Ready to start filming...

http://www.autogeekonline.net/gallery/watermark.php?file=83147

In this shot I'm using the flashlight in my iPhone to light up the before and after shot so the camera guys can capture the before shots...

Removing swirls using Pinnacle Advanced Compound

http://www.autogeekonline.net/gallery/watermark.php?file=83164

http://www.autogeekonline.net/gallery/watermark.php?file=83165

I finished buffing out just this small segment and then after we finished shooting the segment the camera guys came in and captured before and after using my iPhone again. We didn't get any side-by-side before and after shots so you'll have to watch this episode to see the side-by-side results.

http://www.autogeekonline.net/gallery/watermark.php?file=83166

That was a fun episode to shoot and part of what makes working with Dennis so fun is he's a funny guy!

http://www.autogeekonline.net/gallery/watermark.php?file=83149

But he can be serious too....
