First time poster here. Ive been into detailing for many years but have begun to get more serious about it and considered starting to do this as an additional source of income. I recently prepped my vehicle for the upcoming winter and took several photos to document the process.

Thanks for having me...look forward to presenting more cars in the near future.

**Edit: having a difficult time uploading pictures...standby for a minute while I try to correct the problem**

There are descriptions in the photos but I'll go through the process and some products used.

1. engine clean/degrease using Auto Finesse APC and Citrus Degreaser. Engine bay was the dressed with adams in and out.

2. wheels cleaned with sonax full effect. tires/wheel wells cleaned with AF APC.

3. door jams/trim/intricate exterior areas cleaned with AF APC w/ AF boars hair brush.

4. AP citrus degreased sprayed on front to remove bugs. left to dwell.

5. Lower half of the car was decon using AF Iron Out.

6. Car was rinsed, then foamed using Gilmour Gun w/ AF Avalanche.

7. Hand washed (2 bucket method) using Dodo Juice Supernatural soap.

8. Car was then dried using American Rag Co. waffle weave/air compressor/leaf blower

9. Car was clayed using diluted ONR w/ clay

10. Minor paint touch up. Sanded to remove loose paint, touch up applied, left to dry while interior was done.

11. interior blown out, plastics/vinyls cleaned using 1Z deep plastic cleaner, sonax dashboard (stuff smells amazing), 303. leather cleaned/conditioned with connolly products. then full vacuum was done.

12. touch up paint was sanded using 3000 grit 3m.

13. exterior was compounded using Rupes 15 Bigfoot and Griots 3'' for smaller areas with megs MF pad and menzerna fg400.

14. menzerna top inspection used to wipe down panels after done.

15. polish stage was done with rupes/griot and sonax perfect finish.

16. sealed with sonax poly net

17. 2 coats of dodo juice supernatural carnuba wax

18. exterior trim dressed with 303 to revive/protect exterior rubbers/plastic

19. wheels waxed using same applicator pad containg supernatural. wheels dressed with 303 (tried using dodojuice tyromania--do not recommend. difficult to apply and spread).

20. exhaust polished with menzerna polish paste.

Overall, I was aiming to protect my vehicle and do a mild paint correction. I'd say i removed about 70-80 of typical swirls from an almost 11 year old vehicle while touching up some areas where substrate was showing to prevent catastrophic failure, rust.

All in all, Id say I spent about 13-14 hours on the car over 2 days. Also, the clarity isn't really conveyed through the pictures. My camera wouldn't focus on the reflection to give proper clarity--I tried using the macro feature but it proved difficult. Also, the black magic pearl paint looks increadible once it was polished. Definitely brings out the different hues in the metallic flake from different angles--some blues/purples and of course, blacks.
