Hello Autogeeks,
My name is Zack and I'm a senior in high school. I've only recently started getting into auto detailing in depth, although I've been washing my families' cars in the driveway since i can remember. Last year I got a job at an auto body shop cleaning cars inside and out and doing the occasional waxing. I got a lot of coworkers telling me that I was putting TOO much effort in, which kind of baffled me, so I decided I'd leave the detailing to my own cars and just stick to washing at work.
I've been thinking about picking up a nice package off of Autogeek just to get started with real car detailing. The paint on my car, a 2003 SVT Focus, isn't too great but after a wash, clay bar, and wax, it actually cleans up pretty nice, so naturally I can't wait to see what a polish will do in terms of livening up the car.
I know this is kind of a long first post but I wanted to make a proper introduction to a place that i think I'll be spending a lot of time.:xyxthumbs:
Thanks,
-Zack
