I have a few questions about what should I use to remove sight scratcheds through out the car, almost looks like swirl marks but isn't to bad. Here's what I've done on the hood, roof, and trunk lid. I washed, Clayed with meguairs, meguairs ultimate compound, and meguairs gold class paste. I have a harbor freight DA with the 5" LC backing plate. A orange, white, and black hex logic pad. After all that theirs still a few scratches in the clear, nothing deep. Can't really feel them just only see them in the sun. What should I use to give me the best look. I'm just a noob trying to clean my cars/trucks. Not a business or anything. I was thinking maybe a different compound? But which one? And do I use it with the Orange pad? I prefer OTC.

you may want to give more information example:
what model vehicle & paint color
may also consider the professional line products
meguiars M105/M205
Menzerna 400/4000
as these compound/polish have better cut
hope this helps:xyxthumbs:

Sorry but it's a 2013 Nissan Altima, think its called Galaxy grey. Looks awesome when cleaned but I can still see those small scratches in the sun when up close and I don't like it lol

With the 105/205 I should be using the CG Orange pad correct?

i would use M105 + orange hex-logic
then follow by M205 + white hex-logic

this may help :xyxthumbs:

That's exactly what I was looking for thanks. Say I want to just start with the 205 do I still use the white pad? And can I go straight to wax after? I will watch more of his videos in a few days but just trying to finish this Tommorrow.
