I do this car twice a year, this was the fall detail for winter for the Chief. Its a resort town so during the summer the car has lots of bodies pressed against it, not to mention his partner jumping on the car. He gets a new ride every 3 years or so, I try to keep it up as best as I can. I'm thinking maybe get some x-pel sheets to protect the common areas. Not any befores but it wasn't THAT bad except in some areas.

Wash: Megs car wash soap
Wheels/Tires: Zep 505
Nanoskin medium grade with ONR as lube
Process:
Tried Fixer with blue hybrid pad which didn't seem to make a dent. Switched to Uber since the fixer didn't seem to want to break down in the high 40's low 50's temp. Still not much better. Purple Kompressor pad on a rotary started to get there, switched to wool which hologrammed like crazy but fixed my problem. Finished with white hybrid pad and Uber for the win. Coated with DGPS. Tires got the turtle wax shine treatment.

Turned out really nice, I appreciate you sharing the difficulties you faced during work, and how you dealt with them.

Thanks a lot for putting this thread, and congratulations on your results.

Kind Regards.

Great job!! I worked in a police garage for 26 years and you can tell a K-9 car once you open the car door.

Great work!!..... but the question remains why? This is obviously a car that will be abused again within hours/days of the correction.

This is actually the worst it has been. He will probably be getting a new car next year so this one goes on the auction block. The winter time the car doesn't see much abuse so it will head off.

first, I have done several K9 cars and search/rescue trucks. and the hair and smell is second to none. its terrible. and everything is dirty, muddy, and scratched. you did a good job here.

second, you stole my idea of putting the yard sign in front of the vehicle for pictures. I own the rights to this method of advertising, and my attorney will be in contact with you very soon :nomore::xyxthumbs:

Amazing work. Are the decals vinyl? Curious how you handled those with the rotary and wool.

Carefully! I worked around the edges which about all you can do! I actually just got sign that week and was excited use it! Working in a residential area, I park at tree lawn some people think car for sale until read sign. Hoping to draw in more business that way.
