Any suggestions about what I should use to lubricate the hinges and moving parts on the hard top convertible on a 2012 VW eos? Or not worry about it if is working properly. It also appears you would lubricate quickly while it is going through a cycle so lub'ing would have to be quick! Thanks.

Silicone or lithium grease is best though check in your car manufacture manual/go to the dealer to find out what lubrication is best

No...Don't try to lube anything while it's moving!!
*See Below

•Most any 3-in-One/"sewing-machine-oil" types of lube,
will be fine to use on the metal components.

•It's best to keep the seals cleaned and lubed!

Read this for the seals: VWVortex.com - How to solve (or prevent) Eos Roof leaks (http://forums.vwvortex.com/showthread.php?3087297-How-to-solve-(or-prevent)-Eos-Roof-leaks)

I'm not too sure about the hinges.
