CarSpa Auto Spa Car Show October 7th in Stuart Florida (http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/company-forum-news-headlines/85696-carspa-auto-spa-car-show-october-7th-stuart-florida.html)

Here's a few pictures from last night's car show, when we arrived it was raining lightly but some really nice rides still showed up....

This is the CarSpa Car Show Trailer, from this location Lou and his team manage the show, make announcements and coordinate traffic control and parking.

At 6:30pm Lou turns everyone's attention to the American Flag flying behind the trailer at the Chic-fil-A and the Start Spangled Banner is played in honor of America and all our Veterans and current Military. Good job Lou!

(That's Lou walking off to the left side of the trailer).

This is an Autogeek Thursday Night Project Car
We buffed this streetrod out just two weeks ago. If you want to see the water spots and swirls in the paint BEFORE we did the extreme makeover, check out this link,

1965 Ford F100
Loved this truck! I drove one just like this when I turned 15 as it was my Dad's and I hadn't put my first car a 1926 Model T Hotrod on the road yet.

We buffed out and removed the swirls out of Orlando's 1964 Impala at our May Detailing Boot Camp Class.

For Orlando's 1964 Impala we used the Rupes Paint Polishing System including,

Rupes Bigfoot 21
Rupes Bigfoot 15
Rupes Duetto 12
Rupes Mini 12

And after going over with the class how to do a test spot and dial in the perfect combination of Rupes polishes and pads to remove the holograms we chose the Rupes Zephir Gloss Compound with the Blue Foam Cutting Pad followed by the Diamond Ultra Fine Polish with the White Foam Finishing Pads.

First we go over how to do a Test Spot and then evaluate the results.

Orlando's truck will be one of our training cars for our January Detailing Boot Camp Class.

To the casual observer this is a nice looking truck, (and it is), and the paint looks good too....

Hood Shot

But when you know how to correctly inspect the paint for defects it's clear there's room for improvement.

The Hood with a Swirl Finder Light

From the pattern I see in the swirls, the paint on this truck has been buffed using a wool pad on a rotary buffer leaving holograms in the paint. We'll fix this in my January class.

If you're reading this and you live in the Stuart area, I'm always looking for classics, streetrods and muscle cars with swirls, water spots and oxidation for my Detailing Boot Camp Classes.

Check out the before and after results from my last class here,
