2008 Toyota Sienna

Steps:
Clay Bar with ONR lube
Menzerna SIP on orange pad
Menzerna Final Polish on white pad
WDGPS 3.0 - 1 coating
Fuzion - 1 layer on these photos

*Completed whole van in 2 weeks working on 1 or 2 panels every other day. I found that in doing it piece-meal over a period of time instead of everything-all-at-once in one entire day that I didn't experience "burn out". I approached each panel with renewed energy and enthusiasm each time I started.

**These pictures were taken a month ago. I've since applied another layer of Fuzion, which made the paint look even darker and deeper.

If that's Toyota's Magnetic Grey Metallic, it's one of the best metal-flake paints I've seen in recent years. Great job!

Thank you, everyone! Especially Mike, much respect.

To CDot: Toyota calls it Slate Metallic. It looks gray most times to me, but ask another person and they'll say either blue or green! Depends on the lighting and angle I guess!

To zainJR: Yes it's 100% daily driver. Parked on the streets on weekdays but garaged at night. Being a DD, it's got a couple of deep scratches that I can't correct on my own. Fortunately, they're on the lower bumper area. I also try not to park under trees, lampposts, etc. even if that meant walking a little further.

Breath taking results on that Toyota you hardly even see the metal flakes in these paintwork's....you got an amazing talent keep that momentum going

How many miles on that one!!!?

I just did a 95k mile 2007 same color. What a pleasure to work on. I too thought the van was grey originally but saw the true blue beauty of it after an XMT360 sale prep job...

First the flake shot:

Thanks, jamesboyy! All I know I learned right here.

That's awesome, dcjredline! Not even a scratch under the door handles! (Mine has a few I'm going to tackle this weekend...) My van's got 58K miles, quite lower than yours but it's 90% city driving, lots of stops and starts.

That was a customers van. I fixed the scratches in the door handles for her. I put some XMT on a MF and scrubbed by hand. She was elated. I've seen the van since and it still has that glow but its dirty again and she's not getting many bites on the sale of it.
