I recently had my Black C7 coated with CQuartz finest after a paint correction process. I was so blown away by the results I've been inspired to learn more about paint correction, detailing at this level, and want to learn to do it on my own that I'm ready to take the plunge with equipment, polishing tools, pads, water filtration equipment etc. I'm looking for some guidance on what tools and products to start with. I have an older Honda I can use to practice on. Completely open to suggestions, recommendations, and opinions.

How often you you plan on detailing and doing paint correction, a couple cars a year or do you think you will be doing this on a fairly regular basis?

Probably not paint correction very often. 2 - 5 times per year for friends and family. Detailing outside of paint correction very frequently. Love cleaning my car!

I got into detailing last year when I got my new car. At least for me, the inspiration lead to me spending a crazy amount of money lol. I enjoy it, but I have the bug and there always seems to be a different product or accessory I feel I need to try. Before last year I didn't know $30 Boars Hair lug nut brushes even existed. And I never would have imagined I would buy one.

And then you will have to pick up a couple buckets from lowes/hd, a pack of Kirkland towels for Costco, and I would buy a bunch more MF from another source personally but AG does carry good stuff. I'm sure I'm forgetting some stuff but I think I spent enough time with this.

P.S. You never said how much you were willing to spend..

See I knew I would forget something.

TUF SHINE Tire Brush (http://www.autogeek.net/tuf-shine-tire-brush.html)

You are going to need a few sprayers as well. And while at HD/Lowes pick up some Folex for the ever lovely stains that do happen.
