What is a good/best external detail cleaner for the car? I just wanted to get rid of light dust

Use a waterless wash like Ultima. It's better than any QD for light dust.

I have a recent coating on my car. For light dust, I prefer a power wash (or a water hose). This touchless watering takes off all dust. If some dirt or grime remains, I also like to use Ultima WW on those spots.

if you want a QD that cleans, adds gloss, and some light protection then pick up some DG rinseless wash and dilute it to QD specs. 3 ounces to 16 ounces of water...

Meg's d155, Adams QD, Zaino z6, duragloss fast clean and shine, Chemical guys extreme slick synthetic detailer these are all ones I like. Most quick detailers make you happy, some streak or are a little fussy in certain conditions but I feel they are becoming a lost under valued product on this site, people too worried that a spec of dust is too dirty to use them lol. But are polishing the car every two months anyways.

The absolute best quick spray I've ever tried is Chemical Guys Synthetic Quick Detailer, the purple stuff. It never leaves residue even when working in the sun, especially on black cars. I've tried so many different brands and even some of the other CG variations and this stuff will always be my go to QD.

I've used Meguiar's M34 Final Inspection for almost twenty years. Sometimes I'll use their Ultimate Wash & Wax Anywhere, but will definitely be ordering some d114 and d115.

I have a few bottles of the TW rinse less that I use as a waterless to go through yet, but it all depends on how soiled the vehicle is.
