I noticed the passenger side leatherette (fake leather) seat is showing some wear and I want to prevent it from cracking like the driver side. I'm currently using 303 aerospace and Car-PRO PERL diluted. I wipe down the interior monthly with water and put on either 303 or PERL but seems like this process is not working.

What do you guys do to keep your leatherette looking fresh and from cracking over the years? What products do you use?

The clear protective coating is probably worn away from not properly cleaning it. Dirt and grime will wear away the coating. The key is to keep the seat clean. Sounds like it's too late for your seats if they are cracking. Sometime ago, I saw a guy on Youtube that sanded his bad and worn seats, don't remember what he used to protect them but they looked real good.

What car? The point of leatherette is so that it doesn't crack or look worn like leather.

Here are pics of my seats. One of them is the cracked ripped worn driver side and the other the passenger. Starting to wear

Detailer's Leather Cleaner and Conditioner, auto leather cleaner, car leather conditioner, best leather cleaner conditioner (http://www.autogeek.net/dp-leather-cleaner-conditioner.html)

I have been using this on the xterra's seats for some time now. Appears to be doing it's job quite well. Cleans & conditions.
