Last night was awesome! Having the chance to meet with an industry leader and test new products doesn't come around very often. Thanks to Autogeek for putting together this great event.

Inspecting using overhead sunlight

If you look at the pictures of this 1940 Ford Sedan Delivery Streetrod in the first post of this thread you might think the paint actually looks pretty good?

And it does from 10 feet away, especially to the untrained eye.

Here's the high resolution pictures I took outisde around 11:30am EST with the sun revealing the true condtion of the paint.

Inspecting using artificial light
And here's some pictures I took after moving this streetrod into our garage using florescent lights and swirl finder lights.

Sorry for the delay, right after I posted the above the 1941 Oldsmobile and the 1939 LaSalle arrived and I had to meet the owners, take possession of the cars and then move them into the warehouse.

Next, Mike the owner of the 1940 Ford arrived and Early the Plumber arrived and Earl ended up buying the 1940 Ford.

Then I moved cars around to start setting up tables for tomorrow's class...

The picture of the wheels at the end don't belong to this truck...

Hard to explain but when inserting MASS pictures like I normally do there's a tweak or two I need to do now with the Autogeek watermark "code". Sometimes I add more code than I've processed and uploaded pictures and that's why a "strange" picture can show up until I see it and edit the code. Normally I do this right after a post as I view what I posted but after I made this post a 1939 LaSalle and a 1941 Oldsmobile showed up.

Whew.... lots going on... kind of behind because we did a Thursday night project the day before a full scale, two-day boot camp class.

Mike I want to thank you for allowing me to be a part of this Thursdays night session. Working with all these guys was a real privilege. It was interesting how things work and how an industry leader does there R&D and product development. Glad I was a part of this
