So I just polished my Ram with griots polish and used their sealant, but I didn't wait an hour before buffing it off (as advised in their video because I thought it was like applying a wax and you just had to let it haze. Didn't watch video until after). Is that going to effect the performance of the sealant? It looks friggin' pissah, but I just want to make sure it's going to last all winter. Massachusetts roads get nasty in winter.

Tried searching, but tapatalk doesn't do a great job searching.

Thanks in advance from a noob to true detailing.

You should be fine,
but you can always add a second coat for complete coverage.

You will be alright just apply another coat it's a great practice to get into, you can always try the swipe test too where you make a small line with finger if it clear the wax, sealant, lsp is dry if it's smudge then needs more time to dry

And a tip for the future: read/know the directions before using any product.

Cool. I'll just do a second coat then to be safe.

Another question. I have been using Fukken spray wax for spot touch ups. Is that going to effect the sealant? I believe it is petroleum based.

I usually do. I watched a ton of mike's videos before even attempting to polish out the swirls.

if you have been using spray wax, you want to remove that before you apply another coat of sealant. use an IPA wipe down before you do that 2nd coat

You could always try different products that don't have the wait time.

Sonax Polymer Net Shield is nearly a WOWO sealant with months of durability.

I have heard good things about that. I'll look into it.
