What do you do for stuff thats stubborn. Do you rub hard with your mitt or clay it off.
Can be anything. Tar..bug..poop.. Whatever. .
I've been claying because I'm afraid of rubbing too hard

Claying:
That usually seems like a good plan...at least on paper.
•But, then again, I wonder:
-how much downward pressure you are having to apply to the clay, to remove the above listed contaminates.
-if you have used any other products, besides clay, to see if they'll remove some of those contaminates:
"Bug & Tar Removers" come to mind.
{Having to rub too hard may not even enter into the removal process when using these types of removers!}
