Customs Prep: 2013 Volvo XC60

This vehicle was scheduled for a bug removal and shipment prep to return to the U.S. This was the third time this Volvo has been washed in it's life! To say it was dirty was an understatement.

There was a heavy buildup of bugs in which have been blasted on the front end with months of dwell time on the surface. These suckers were really glued on the front end. It took three rounds to get them off.


Interior
·Vacuumed carpet/upholstery with 6HP Shop-Vac
·Door panels protected with Meguiar’s Quik Interior Detailer

Wheels
·Wheels cleaned with Meguiar’s all Wheel and Tire Cleaner
·Tires scrubbed with Meguiar’s all Wheel and Tire Cleaner
·Wheel wells scrubbed with Meguiar’s APC

Wash
·Pre-treated with Meguiar’s APC cut 4:1
·Pre-treated with Sonax Multi-Star
·Bugs removed with Sonax Insect-Star
·Engine bay scrubbed with Meguiar's APC########
·Wash with 2BM and Meguiar’s Hyper Wash and Meguiar’s wash
·Thorough rinse down to remove all soap residues
·Cracks and crevices blown out with leaf blower
·Remaining water dried with Meguiar's Water Magnet

Miscellaneous
·Door sills with V07
·Wheels with V07
·Tires dressed with Meguiar’s All Season Tire Dressing
·Pictures taken with Nikon D3200 and hooded 18-55mm lens
