:welcome: To Autogeek Online! :props:

Detailing isn't easy and physically it'll give you a good workout.

Detailing is also quite rewarding if you enjoy a clean and shinny car or truck. Detailing correctly is also key to avoid frustration, disappointment, and a lot of wasted time and money.

By reading many of the members post here you'll get a semblance of the do's and don't pretty quickly. If you enjoy reading then you'll really like the most thorough and comprehensive articles written by Mike Phillips.

Mike literally written the book on detailing and it's available in both paperback and electronic versions (http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/ask-expert-featuring-mike-phillips/64360-detailing-how-book-detailing-how-e-book.html).

There's also a great section on the how too's of detailing right here on the Autogeek Forum free for the asking...

Starting Off

Everyone starts off as a beginner but with some reading, questions, and trial, error, and practice you'll be amazed how much you'll be able to do. After reading and understanding some of the basics, the more hands on, the quicker you'll build your knowledge and gain experience.

This link will take you to some fabulous articles written by Mike Phillips.
