Had the pleasure of doing an express detail on a repeat customer/good friend of mines VW CC R-Line edition. I will admit that I am not a huge fan of VW's but this car is just plain nice and stylish. The wheels although aftermarket go perfect with the color and lines of this car.

My process:

1. Wheel/tires cleaned with Iron-x/APC
2. Washed with Dawn and APC diluted in 4gal of water to strip any wax in preparation for Hydro2
3. Nanoskin fine wash mitt with ONR diluted into a detail spray
4. Hydro2 applied to paint/glass/rims (diluted 100ml of Hydro2 with 300ML of RO water)
5. Sheeted dry and then Megs drying towel for left over water
6. Tires dressed with Megs aerosol tire dressing
7. Interior/Exterior glass cleaned with Megs perfect clarity
8. Interior/trunk vac'd and panels given a quick dust off.

The Hydro2 really amp'd up the slickness and gloss on the metallic paint. It was almost as if I coated the car. Great product!

Very nice work! It does posses that coated look IMO as well.

But those wheels are too small and it dosent sit low enough...

Is it a very quick application?

This would be great for both speed and results as DP PC Sealant ain't cutting it ;)

Very quick. Spray on panel and rinse off immediately with high pressure spray. Do not use in direct sunlight. Gloss and slickness are awesome!! At LEAST 3 months durability if applied to bare or coated paint. A lot report longer.

Looks great! Really can't find myself liking the styling of that model VW though...

Can you apply it to wet paint with the same results? Or no?

I saw you could but does that sacrifice the lifespan of the protection??

You used 400 ml for the entire vehicle? I used about 50ml total ready to use product on my car and got good coverage. That stuff is too expensive to be wasting product.

NO. I only used about 100ML of diluted product. 400ML was the total I diluted into a spray bottle. 100ML of Hydro and 300ML of RO Water.

I apply it to wet paint. Doesn't seem to affect anything. They recommend the paint be wet. Here is a video straight from Corey at Carpro.

You're supposed to apply it to wet paint.
