Can Blackfire Wet Diamond Polymer Spray (as a maintainer for the Blackfire All Purpose Paint Protection) be used straight after Optimum Instant Detailer & Gloss Enhancer as a drying agent/lubricant during the drying process to minimise marring the paint when dragging a waffle weave towel over wet paint (I understand this is still recommended even after snow foaming and 2 bucket washing the car)? Will this effect the gloss or durability (or anything else) of the BFPS?
I know OID is a good finishing product in its own right but prefer BFPS for gloss/durability hence my preferred finishing product. Also I also understand BFPS is not a very good drying agent/lubricator in its own right (and expensive way to use it) which I why I'm considering using OID for this purpose.
A related question: can OID be used to wipe up any finger prints/water spots/dust etc after BFPS has cured (e.g. remove any remaining water spots next day after washing and having applied BFPS)? Would OID then affect next wash/BFPS application cycle?
