Hey Guys,

Well a few days ago I managed to bump a concrete pillar in an underground parking lot  . The results (Pics Below) are some scratches on my fender and bumper as well as a dent. The dent I am thinking of getting removed professionally, unless anyone has any ideas lol. Was wonder if you think that the scratches can be removed or will it need to be repainted? The bumper is plastic as well. The car is a 2006 Subaru WRX. Thanks any feed back is appreciated.

A lot of the white stuff might come off but there are probably scratches to the paint underneath that. You could try a rubbing compound to remove the residue and then see how bad it is and whether you can live with it or not.

If you decide to try to remove the paint transfer, it is often quicker/easier to do it by hand

Use compound on a short nap microfiber and buff firmly in the direction of the scratch, not perpendicular to it

It is possible to go thru the clear coat even by buffing by hand with the MF and the concentrated area of just your finger-tips...just don't go Nuts
