As most may already know white waxes are waxes with mild abrasives and cleaners to help make your white paint pop more. My question is when do waxes like that make the jump from an AIO to , for lack of a better term cleaner waxes? Is there anything distingushiable other than AIOs coming in liquid form with more harsh abrasives?

Seems your post wasn't complete text-wise. Are you referring to products like Megs White Wax or are you talking about all waxes marketed for light colored cars (like Light Fantastic/Diamond White)?

All "waxes for white cars" aren't AIO's though. The Dodo Juice waxes are carnauba and call for Lime Prime beforehand to clean the paint with mild abrasives.

The below quote is from this Mike Phillips article:

A cleaner/wax is also what we in the detailing industry call a One-Step product or an AIO.
