I have used Blackfire Wet Diamond for about a year and have been satisfied so far. I am just about out and need to reorder. I would appreciate any comments from anyone who has used both products as to shine and durability. I have a red 96 Mercedes SL500.

Never used Blackfire, never felt that I needed it. So far these are my favorite sealants:
DP surface shield - for metallic flake pop
Wolfgang - light flake pop/warm carnauba like finish
Four Star UPP - flat paints (non-metallic) for bright look.

I'm inclined to disagree, I put it on about 4 months ago on a customers car and it still beads like the day it was put on. Granted he has been caring for it like I told him too. Even on my own car I've been very satisfied.

environmental issues can cause different durability factors for sealants. Using the proper soap, quick detailer, and even a booster like Polycharger can increase most products lifespan as wanted.
