I just used DG105/601 today after a long time and realized why I used to love it so much. So easy to work with after playing with Sonax Polymer Netshield for months. Plus DG looks a stunner.

Unfortunately, my bottle is about to finish so thinking of trying something else. I know Blackfire Wet Diamond and Wolfgang deep Gloss sealant are two that are compared to DG 105 here a lot. They are more expensive but considering you don't need to buy 601 separately, I think that is fair. Are there any other traditional sealants that are very durable and good looking? How about Four Star UPP ? Nobody seems to use it though. I was reading about M20 and it seemed very interesting as it is a polymer sealant with some Carnauba and some cleaners. Shame it comes in only gallon sizes.

For the price point, Collinite 845 is a good choice. Use very little and durable. BFWD is pricey, but a little goes a long way. I bet I use 1/2 oz. or less per car. Bout the same with 845 too.

Thanks. Looking for a polymer sealant instead though.

845 is a blended sealant/wax hybrid with synthetic polymers... as are many "wax" type products nowadays.

Ok. Other than 845 in that case please.

Why not just stick with the DG products. I think dollar for dollar they are the best available, and quite frankly, still the best no matter what you pay. Why pay more for inferior products. Also, factor in Brothers Research which owns Duragloss makes a ton of products sold under various names out there, why not get the original.

Jet Seal 109 does really good job as a sealant

Also, DG 105 plus DG 601 are still only around $18 together, far, far less than Wolfgang or Blackfire, plus they are more durable.

By the way, you can get Meguiars #20 in a 16 oz size.

I have Blackfire Wet Diamond, but since I've gotten DG 105/601 I haven't even used Wet Diamond. I will say if you have a black car, then BFWD looks better in my opinion (not that 105 doesn't look good).

I am high on DG products. They are very durable, cost effective. The 601 bonding agent I think is a key ingredient in the durability and is a lot more user friendly than something like Zaino and ZFX where you have to pre-mix before using. DG does not necessarilly have a catchy name or fancy labels but the product works and has a proven track record.

I've had good luck with DP poli-coat sealant. Very easy to work with and protects for over 9 months maybe over a year.

Big fan of 4 star UPP. Easy on easy off, looks great, nuba like appearance for a sealant.

Good recommendations. I used M21 and the klasse twins with good success. I'm going to add Meguiar's ultimate wax into the mix as well as it is a little longer lasting than M21.

This is my next sealant to try out. I have it sitting in my cabinet.
