I really hope I get the picture to appear. I need to know what I should use to protect the black part of the grill?

Also what do I use on the top side strip of the door. The black section between the windows of the front and back door. Wish I had a picture, I can't really discribe it. Let's see.... it the section that the window rolls up into. I always seem to have finger prints on it, too much hand lotion I guess.

I like using DP plex-all and plexus on my grills, the plex-all seems to clean better and the plexus has more of a slick feeling to it afterwards. Also I use duragloss AW and 521 after washes on the grill part and it seems to offer good protection as well and the bugs seem to come off easier on the next wash.

If you want something cheap that works, use Armor All. If you want something that also works but is more expensive, use 303.

I use both. I use Armor All for the exterior and I use 303 for the interior. Nothing on the exterior lasts all that long so you might as well go for the cheap one. 303 looks way better and lasts longer on interior surfaces.

I hv switched to OptiSeal (and the other versions) for exterior trim because it just seems to last a lot longer. You also don't hv to be careful to only apply to certain parts because it will work on your paint, plastic, chromed plastic, etc.
I have also moved to a more durable interior protectant because I got tired of my hands, elbow rubbing off the protectant after a day.
