I'm trying to prep the hood of my truck, actually removing red stains from tree. I used 6 inch fine nanoskin pad with my GG6 and nanoskin glide. All stains were removed and visibly all looks good. Baggie test reveals bumps or roughness. Is this something that a medium pad or straight clay would take care of, or do I need Iron X. This is 2006 Silverado work truck that is outsie 24/7

•The Baggie Test"...what a revealer!
•If the vehicle has never been "IronX-ed"...maybe now's the time to do so.
-If you would happen to IronX the vehicle:
I suggest to "Baggie Test" it again.
-Based on those results...and if deemed necessary:
Your choice, then, to clay/Nanoskin. (I would use the clay.)
•If IronX-ing is not to be performed:
-I will suggest to still use the clay.
-Another "Baggie Test" may be considered as optional.
Good Luck!

I would suggest Iron-X regardless. As for a more aggressive clay (or Nanoskin pad), you might need that as well.

Clayed the hood because I had some. There is still roughness so Its time to get some Iron X and test again
Always wondered why does the plastic baggie super-sensitize the fingers.
If you run your fingers over a freshly clayed area on your car its always silky smooth. But with the baggie its rough.
Why is that? Anyone know?

Among other determining factors...
I have a feeling there is:
The enhancement of:
A person's tactile-mechanoreceptors, haptics, etc...
via: Variance of resonant frequencies.
