I am new here. After many years of having someone else do the cars and at 64 years of age I have decided to try to do my own. Did my first detailing today on my 2010 Ford 150 Platinum. It took me almost 7 hours and I am officially worn out but extremely happy with the results. I washed the car in Pinnacle Bodyworks Shampoo. The tires were done with Meguiars Hot Shine Foam and finished with Pinnacle Black Onyx Tire Gel.

My next step was to polish the entire truck with Pinnacle Paintwork Cleansing Lotion. Used it as directed and was quite impressed with the results of that product. Finally I finished it off with a coat of Pinnacle Signature Series II wax. Smells great and really put on a beautiful shine. This product is so easy to use as compared to what I remember using as a kid. (Some sort of Turtle Wax)

All in all I was very pleased with the results I got. I have tried to upload some photos to the members gallery but nothing is showing up so I will post some photos when I learn how to do so. It says it was uploaded but nothing is showing up when I check my photos.

hot shine foam is good but very expensive, I would suggest going to d143 or even brown royal as they are dilutable
