I'm jackb from Hobe Sound. The title of this thread is the years of the cars I own and take care of so you can see why I'm very interested in paint care. My wife & I attended the C&C in June and August and I attended the paint detailing this past thursday on the '65 chev pickup. I got a great education on prep and polishing with a polisher. I'm 65 yrs old and still have a lot to learn, thanks to Mike and everyone involved for the opportunity!

Yeah, maybe we can all get together and buff out a smart car fender, if we all take turns maybe we can finish it before we all head for the recliner with aches and pains.

Hi Jack,

It was a real pleasure having you at this last Thursday's project with the 1965 Chevy...

I haven't put up the pictures showing the "process" yet due to time constraints the before and after shots are here,

Rupes Polishers - Extreme Makeover - 1965 Chevy Streetrod (http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/pictures-autogeek-s-car-week/83891-rupes-polishers-extreme-makeover-1965-chevy-streetrod.html)

And I watched you work the Rupes polishers like a real pro... great job!

And for everyone reading this thread into the future, here's Jack's 1940 Ford at our last Cars & Coffee....
