Opti-Seal is boss. too easy. and a bottle lasts FOREVER.

i have been loving it on top of Opti-Coat and Opti-Glass. yikes. not sure how long it really lasts on the coatings but it's super slick.

I love CG's Hybid v07 as a sealant but I also use it on top of a Pinnacle Black Label paint coating...and I use Pinnacle Souveran paste as a last step.

What're some other good spray sealants besides reload? And how long does the biggest bottle of reload last?

There are quite a few listed here (http://www.autogeek.net/was.html)...........:props:

Does BFCS have a cure time? How is it vs. UPGP?

BUMP! Can anyone comment on this? I've searched other threads, but can't seem to find a longevity answer for UPGP as well...

bf's can be layered within 45min.....

UPGP I had the OLD formula last 4-5 months w/ 3 layers.....used ceedogs(corey) old post as reference when using upgp

My understanding is that AquaWax & Megs UQW are waxes with synthetic polymers in them....but they aren't true sealants.

Prima HydroMAX, Wolfgang Deep Gloss Spritz Sealant, BF Wet Diamond Polymer Spray, CarPro's Hydro and Sonax BSD are true spray sealants with CG V07 being a QD hybrid and Opti-Seal being a spray WOWA sealant. Just my understanding though...

Mine too. Aquawax as much as I like it, isn't particularly durable and isn't marketed as such.

Really though, why is a non-spray wax so much more durable than a spray wax? Perhaps a scientifically minded person will have the answer.

I tried to look up the MSDS of Megs UQW, but the info is "proprietary" so the ingredients aren't listed. Aquawax lists a silicone fluid called "POLYAMINODIMETHYL SILOXANE".

The lines can be so blurred when it comes to naming products. I'm guessing that anything with carnauba in it (even if it contains silicone as well) is considered a wax--if no carnauba is among the ingredients, then it's not a "wax"?

Believe it or not Turtle Wax Ice spray wax is very good . Seems to last longer then most.

mothers fx spray wax is very good as well. got a few bottles on clearance (oreilly's) for less than a buck each and well worth full price if it wasn't. the whole fx line is excellent...

Long lasting spray LSP would be Reload followed by Prima HydroMAX. My two favorites.
