Hi guys,

I have seen quite a few posts about different APC products being used however I am now overwhelmed and confused as to which is the better all rounder to buy.

What do most enthusiasts use for tyres, wheels, exterior and interior.

And go!

If you want an APC for all those things then in my mind Optimum Power Clean is the ticket, followed by Megs APC+

I asked this very question not long ago. I got Meg's APC but Optimum seems to be a favorite too.

Meg's is great bang for the buck

I use Megs APC diluted 10:1 for most things. The gallon I have should last throughout this decade.

I like CG All Clean+, and Blackfire is good as well.

Meguiars D108 Super Degreaser is an amazing product and GREAT $ per an ounce. It's strong enough to clean wheels, tires, engine bays, and undercarriages diluted at 4:1. I also use it on some interior areas diluted 10:1. Probably the only other APC that can match D108s performance and match it's $ per ounce is one of the ZEP (not sure the number) APCs that you can buy at Lowes Home Improvement.

GTechiq W2 is my favorite, but Megs APC+ is good value.

A lot of people on AGO love Optimum Power Clean/Megs D101...but CG's All Clean+ is pretty awesome and dilutable all the way up to 20:1. I've used it to clean everything on & in my car...from upholstery, plastics, rubber, paint, & carpet. I bought a 16oz bottle last year and haven't made it half way through.

I try to pick which APC by which surface I'm working on. P21S TAW seems to be pretty safe on most exterior surfaces - but costs $$$. So, I only use it when I think the surface could be sensitive. Sonus All in 1 is also considered paint safe.

I use a lot of Grime Reaper for wheel wells. It's pretty cheap and foams well with a foaming sprayer. CG's specifically tells you not to use this on paint - although I doubt it would cause any damage if rinsed off before drying. So, I don't use it on paint.

Meg's APC+ was pretty decent - but you can't get it anymore in the gallon size. Duragloss' APC is pretty good & cheap as well.

I just finished a gallon of Blackfire. Really liked it. Used it neat as a pad cleaner, 1:4 for exterior uses, and 1:10 for interior cleaning. I switched to Megs APC this time around mainly for the price point and the good reviews. So far been happy with it at same dilution ratios as Blackfire.

I use a capful or 2 of CG AllClean+ in the MF wash when I've had a polishing or wax session as a boost to help remove residues.

I have been using APC+ and have been satisfied. I just bought a gallon of OPC yesterday to try out because you cant get APC+ in the gallon size anymore and I also want to try something new.

Meguiars APC is decent. Optimum Power Clean works as well, but for a lot more $$.

All these are nice:

Optimum Power Clean™ All Purpose Cleaner 128 oz. Refill (http://www.autogeek.net/128oz-optimum-power-clean-apc.html) (the one I like the most, but difficult to buy in Europe in gallon size)
Meguiars D103 All Purpose Cleaner Plus (http://www.autogeek.net/meguiars-all-purpose-cleaner-plus-d103.html)
128 oz. Duragloss All Purpose Cleaner (APC) (http://www.autogeek.net/128ozduallpu.html)

Currently, I'm using:

einszett :: Shop (http://www.einszett.de/de/shop/mk2-universalreiniger/56/247)

It's a new release and I'm pleasantly surprised with it.
