View Full Version : Is it true that regular ONR (wash&shine) doesn't require perfect drying?

Read a user on another forum saying that he prefers the regular ONR (Wash and shine) instead of the ONRww because you don't need to buff.

As MF towels become damp as you dry the car, it's not necessary to perfectly dry each panel. You can let the panel dry by itself.

Makes sense?

No. You have to dry ONR.

I do NOT "Buff" as part of an ONR car wash.

I do completely dry, but do NOT follow that with a dry buffing towel

When I tried Pinnacle Waterless, I did have to buff off the residual with a second towel, especially the glass.

No. You have to dry ONR.

+1. It will leave steaks if the residue is not completely wiped off the surface.

If you read it on DW, please note that the guy saying this, has a silver car, on mostly works on lighter coloured cars. He probably doesn't see the streaks. But goodluck on a black car...
