I bought a big pack of cheap MF towels for interior and engine bays. The towels all have tags sewn onto them. How do you remove the tags, or do you really not worry about them?

Just tear them off. That's what i do with all my Mf towels. Prevent scratching. I doubt you would have a problem with them doing engine bay and interior work but i wouldn't take a chance.

I agrees with FOCUS.FREAK tear them off though if you feel damage will happen to the towels then just use a scissor and remove them

With towels like those I rip it off like the other fellows. Don't mind a slight fraying on an engine towel.

i remember getting towels and using a nail scissors to trim the long part off by snipping away from the threads holding them in, and then using tweezers to yank the remainder out. it was such a pain but it kept them from getting damaged when removing the tags.

i hated that so much, ugh. never ever again!

cuticle scissors, been using them for years to cut tags off mf towels and any strand/loop that is starting to come out...
