View Full Version : Some of the worst Audi wheels....

Ottawa Police client dropped off his Audi to have it detailed and layered with Cquartz.

I was having my morning coffee and going over pictures of previous jobs, when I came across these, and figured they would be a prime example of "No job is ever the same"

Products used
-Iron-X spray and Gel (I found the gel to be more effective for this job)
-Diablo Gel (Diluted 1:1)
-Various brushes
-Claybar
-PH Neutral APC

More or less over 4 hours, to get the wheels to what I was content with, and the time I had to work with.

BEFORE - One of the worst sets I have done.... - SHOTS FROM ALL 4 WHEELS

I just took a shot from one wheel to show the major transformation, but obviously, you can clearly tell the before and after :) Hope you guys enjoy.

This should be classified as a CRIME!, and this police officer should be tried, convicted and incarcerated. Now by cleaning his crime you became an accessory after the fact!!!

P.S. Great job on salvaging these neglected wheels

Very nice work sir. I live up in pembroke (i'm assuming you know where that is) and we have splash car care as our main detailer in the area. He does VERY good work. But now looking at this there is always room for imporvement!!! i'm just starting out as a hobbiest and hope to soon achieve these standards. I might also stop in 1 day when i'm in ottawa and have a look at your shop if you don't mind!

Of course I know Pembroke :) you can shoot me an email info@waxed.biz. we all started from somewhere. Experience is what gets you better since rarely is a car the same. In essence yes but I mean always different approaches on sent cases. You will always learn. I even do :) thanks for the comment

nice job waxed.

if you encounter these types of dirty wheels often, look at sonax full effect, or 1z colourtech....it will do you real good!

Had sonax as well didn't do the trick as well. I will check out colortech though thanks

This looks like a case for some Meguiar's Wheel Brightener...

That's the thing there could be so many products to try :) I did not mean to say that sonax did not work (it is actually a great cleaner) however for that job I tried a different approach. This stuff was caked on bad. It wasn't just a spray and let sit lol.
