What to use to remove vinyl wrap adhesive?

I am working on a friends FJ and there is some residual vinyl wrap adhesive on it and am wonder what you guys would recommend to remove it before I try anything.

I've had some left-over adhesive from taping etc. and used TAR-X. It says it's a tar/adhesive remover. Sprayed on and let it soak, then agitated with MF sponge, and rinsed with water. Worked like a charm. Whether or not a detail spray, bug cleaner, bug sponge would work equally as well I don't know. But TAR-X can get expensive if you have a lot of adhesive to remove.
