Lets put everything on the table. What's your most guarded secret to detailing. Do you cut corners? Have you ever messed up a clients car and not told them about it? Confess your sins to AG!

Confession number #1: I once did a detail and I was running late and it was super hot so instead of waxing it properly I used spray wax instead. Sorry AG

I'm guilty of that with my gf's car. It was getting late and I wasn't going to sit around and wait for a proper sealant to dry, so I sprayed it down with V07 so I could move on to other activities. That's really it for me, so far

Confession #2: sometimes I use plain old water to wipe down the interior instead of apc

My best secret is coming to AGO to learn about great techniques and great products.

Oh, you mean dirty little secrets that you don't want anyone else to know. I'm not telling any of them!

It could be clean secrets or dirty secrets.

Confession #3: once instead of using a specific towel and detail spray or even a soap filled washmitt, I used my dedicated mf drying towel to clean the door jambs. Sorry AG

Wait--you mean you don't have dedicated doorjamb drying towels??? You obviously haven't been here long enough!

I do have one but I was too tired to make some soapy water and wash it down then rinse it and then spray detail spray and wipe so I just wiped it down with drying towel. Sorry AG
