About 4 months ago, I polished and waxed this car for my friend. She might have had it washed, or washed it herself twice since then. I even gave her some Megs UQW and some Hydro2. She felt the UQW was to much effort.

I had her come back over to show her how easy it was. We washed her car again and applied Hydro2 to the entire car this time. It took about 20 minutes just to clean the wheels (they were black with brake dust). 15 minutes to wash the rest of the car. 5 minutes to apply Hydro2. We did nothing else, no claying or any other sort of decontamination.

Before, the paint is totally flat, no protection, the water just sits in a sheet on the surface:

Hydro2 in action after I sprayed it on, it immediately starts dissipating the water:

After I hosed the Hydro off:

Not sure how long this will last, but as she saw me apply it, she was like "I can do that!". So hopefully she will do it every few months.

Hydro does leave a nice shine, and even if it only lasts a few months, its SO easy to apply, even a .... anyone can do it! :)

Can Reload be used over Hydro2, to say, extend its up to 3-mos lifespan?

Hydro2 can last up to 3 months by itself. If you are using Reload I would just skip the Hydro2 all together.

The beauty of Hydro2 is a person litterally does not need to touch the car. Spray on and hose off. Thats it, period. Reload is kinda like a spray wax in that it has to be sprayed on, spread and buffed off.

Thanks for the info. Never used either product. Will try some Hydro2 before the winter.
