I bought a few gallon pump dispensers to use with soap jugs. After pumping they leak. Does anyone else have this problem. If so what do you do?

What part of the dispenser leaks?

Pretty common. Unless it continues to "leak" after a drip or two, then the pump might be defective. I usually tap the end of the nozzle a few times where the product comes out into my container to catch most of it. Usually don't get much dripping off after that. I store my gallons in a plastic tote with a towel underneath to catch any small drips that I don't get by tapping.

I don't keep my pump dispensers on the gallon jugs. I put them on, refill my smaller container, then take it off and wash it out. They all dribbled a little and they aren't even over sixty:xyxthumbs:

Right out of the spout.

Mine do the same thing and if you search here on the forum, you'll find many negative reviews of them!
You have to cover it right after every use.

I get a drip immediately following using the dispenser, but that is usually it. I still slip on vinyl cap like those in the link below after use to keep whatever is left in the dispenser fresh.

Now that's the ticket. Does the product get dry while it's in the dispenser?

I've had a couple of products get a little crusty in the end of the dispenser prior to using the caps. Since then just as fresh as a closed bottle.

Those caps are a great idea. I'm going to pick some up for my gallons.
