My name is Jeff, I live in southwestern Ohio. I joined because I am taking delivery of a 2014 Avalon. I want to be able to protect the finish and keep it looking good. I have already informed the dealer not to apply any products to the finish. I am looking for ideas the best ways to attain my goals. Thanks in advance for any ideas.

Welcome!

I have already informed the dealer not to apply any products to the finish.

To take it a step further, do not let them even wash the car. Many dealers unknowingly scratch the paint through improper wash technique...the dreaded DISO (dealer installed swirl option). Then you can follow the steps outlined by Mike in the link that Bob posted.

I have already requested the dealer not wash or apply any sealants. Thanks for the feedback. I appreciate the information.
