how much time do you spend on washing, wax car?

I spent 3hrs in total. I was exhausted. Is there a more efficient way to do it?

A wash and wax on my car, no polishing, claying, is about 45 min. Rinseless wash tire clean general maintenance then wax. Yeah about 45-1hr.

I can take care of the exterior of my black Raptor in about 45 min IF I don't have to spend too much time on caked up dirt in the fenders.

The trick to make it faster is products and tools!!

About 3 hours for me. No interior and just a wipe down on the wheels.

Water spots are my biggest problem and what takes most of my time.

About 3 hours for me as well.

- 2 Bucket Wash
- Wheel and Wheel Well Cleaning
- Exhaust Tips Polish
- Dry with Metro Blaster
- Seal with spray sealant or spray wax

On the other hand, rinseless wash (no wheels) will take me 45 minutes to an hour.

First time about 3 hrs. After initial wash and wax (better to do 1 or 2 step correction then use a sealant) now it takes exactly 1 hr for a Optimum Rinseless Wash. You dry after washing down each panel - super quick and easy, minimal clean up.

I don't know if I've ever done a traditional wash and a wax without a paint cleaning/polishing first.

To simply wash and dry my car and then a quick shot of a spray wax it will take about 45 minutes. If I decide to dress the tires and all the rubber trim and clean up my exhaust tips I'll add another 30 minutes. Vacuuming the interior and wiping that down adds another 30 minutes.

I rarely do all of those in one sitting as my maintenance cleaning focuses on what is needed.

45 for wash and wax? Wow! Could you share your procedure with product and tools?
Thanks

I too would be interested in how you do it so fast. It might take me 45 mins just to do a wash and dry. And thats if the car is in decent shape and not neglected

Full wash and wax for the RAV4 takes about two hours.
My 2014 Mirage, an hour.

It doesn't bother me, love taking care of my cars like most here do.

I can do a rinseless wash on my car including tires/wheels and wheelwells in about an hour. It helps to have a small car too!

It takes me about 30 minutes to wash my car. If I am spray waxing add another 15 minutes. If I am doing a true decontamination and rewax that would take a few hours. But I dont mind as I get lost in the process, its my happy place.

For me, yes to everything but the wheel wells. On my car, I can barely see into the wells and would be hard pressed to get a brush in there. On my wife's suv, she put on so many miles they are dirty again in a day or two, so I don't really bother. I just hose it down really well to knock out the mud and most of the dirt.
