Hey guys, I am very curious about your favorite pads for specific tasks.

Here is mine:

For compounding, I usually use yellow or orange B&S pads on a Rupes 21es.
I purchased a rotary about a month ago so I will probably switch the backing plate to a 5 inch one and use the same pads on it.

For polishing I usually use Orange or white B&S pads. Again on the Rupes 21es.

For applying waxes and sealants I usually go to my 3 inch red pads (can't remember the brand) on the Griot Garage 3" polisher.

For removing waxed and sealants I usually use a wax removal bonnet on my Rupes 21es... I am not sure that is the best thing I really want to see what you guys like to use for this.

I'm pretty new to this (have only polished/sealed 3 vehicles), but so far:

Compound - LC Flat 5.5" Orange or CarPro 5" Cool Wool
Polish - LC Flat 5.5" Orange or White
Finish - HF 6" Black

I remove by hand or by using a micro fiber bonnet depending on the car, wax, sealant, etc.

Have yet to get my 3" pad game going. That's on the wish list.

B&S pads are quite nice. I have the orange and green (no white) of the uber brand - same as B&S and the green feels too soft to even finish polish with on any moderately hard paint.
