There's a bunch of threads like this, each containing numerous different answers. Be prepared to hear so many, that it won't even help.

CQuartzUK. I did my DD a few weeks ago, and am just in love. Did the wife's QX56 this weekend, and am looking forward to not spending an hour cleaning it every week (thing is HUGE).

^^^:iagree:^^^

It has taken me over 60 years to find the car-care products
that are my favorites---a few that are even "must haves".

Surely you don't think that I'm going to divulge what those products are at the drop-of-a-hat, in order to keep your research of: "testing stuff out"...at, possibly, the bare minimum..
Did you?!?!

:D

Bob

Note:
Meguiar's has many products, that have been mainstays of mine, over the decades.

Probably the most useful detailing tool is the Griots Garage 6" polisher. It never disappoints.

You can use it to:

1. Wet sand
2. Compound/polish
3. Correct glass
4. Decon paint with nano skin
5. Correct plastic / headlights
6. Scrub carpets
7. Scrub tires
8 Apply LSP

It's an unstoppable machine. It has all the power you will ever need, but can do pretty small delicate work with 3" pads. You can use any pad 3" - 6.5" and it has a lifetime warranty. No mods are needed. It's pretty cheap. It comes with a good useable backing plate. The bale handle is useful. They keep updating it with better versions. It never bogs down and muscles through anything. The Rupes is nice, but it's application is limited. The Griots can do anything.

And, I'm not a Griots fan boy. Most of their products are just so-so IMHO. But, every detail enthusiast should own this machine.

:iagree: if anyone is looking to buy a new traditional style DA, the choice is obvious...
