hey everyone, ok...another quick Q for all you autogeeks...in my sat detail, i'd like to use this process....wash, clay, polish (menzerna 106ff), sealant (DP Sealant), then wax the next day with liquid souverain...my q is, is it worth it to wax after the sealant cures, or is it an unnecessary step?

YOu need to wait till the sealant cures to the paint...i like topping with wax..addes depth and a wet look :)

cool...i guess i'll let it cure overnight and then come back the next day and put a coat of was on her...do i need to wash the car again prior sealing after polishing, or after sealing before wax?

Sometimes depending on your polish there is alot of dust...in that case people prefer to wash/ do a alcohole wipe down. One you remove the sealent with an MF it should stay clean...so you shouldnt have to..but products do differ.

It's a combo of Isopropyl Alcohol (I think it's rubbing alcohol in the grocery stores) and water. 1:1 ratio in a spray bottle. Use it as you would a QD after polishing, to clean off any left over dust, residue from oils etc.

The one I use and I think most here use is the 70 percent. I wouldn't go less than that. 90 percent is fine too.

I think you can get away with just an alcohol wipe down using 106FF. It doesnt dust as much. So you probably wont need to rinse the entire car.
