<> I was wondering if anyone has used a strong soap to remove the oils and dust that menzerna leaves behind?

<> And if so what soap and at what dilution rate?

So far all I have been using a 50:50 alcohol wipe, and then washing with a regular dilution of soap. I want to make 2 steps into one... I know that alot of pros use menz everyday. And, I was hoping that someone has tryed this before I (an enthusiast) go out on a lim.

thanks in advance, Mike

I would stick with the 50/50 wipe down, its nice because it does not leave any sort of film, soap could.

I have rewashed after polishing , and wiped down. I have even used Poorboys Spray/Wipe with nice results. So many different options apply. As Joy offered I would not use a car wash like Poorboys Wash w/wax and then use a paint sealant however.

I have read on all of my soaps that they rinse clean... I would always use pinn paintwork cleanse, before I wax anyway. I will try it next time, Thanks.

Menzerna polishes use mineral oil's for surface lubrication and the best way to start with a pristine surface for wax / sealant application is either Prep Wash or a 1:1 solution IPA / Distilled water

As Jon siad...If I polish the whole car I use a strong mix of CG citrus wash in the foamer cannon..let it dwell a minute or two and rinse...if I just do spot polishing I use a 50/50 mix of water and Alcohol to wipe the panel...

Curious question:
Because IPA is an 80/20 solution with other additives wouldn't it be better to
use denatured alcohol when purity is of concern?

I just rinse the car, then wipe down with alcohol.
