The total swirl remover 3.0 with light cutting pad doesn't seem to be giving me the results I know that can be achieved. I was looking into these two products and was curious how they compare against one another.

when you say light cutting pad what brand and color do you mean? And Uber and fg400 are almost the same product. some say that uber has a longer working time but both will provide good cut and finish out pretty well. Of course going over it with a polish will provide the best results.

Uber is made by Menzerna to AG specs - just about the same as FG400 - ime finishes better. Both are excellent - Uber does cost more...

You might try a pad with more cut before going to a compound.

It could save you some time and some clear coat.

I have had good results with TSR and an Orange Lake Country CCS Pad.

The light cutting pad (orange pad) is what I've been using. First tried on speed 5 and didn't do much and then bumped it up to the 6. Gonna need a compound and I'm also going to try the orange CCS pad by LC

I think Menzerna's FG400 is one of the best compounding polishes available. I have tried many different brands and gave them all away. As for Wolfgang, I cannot comment as I have not used Uber before.
However, I do have other Wolfgang products and I am very happy with them.

I believe 281 is correct in that there is a relationship somehow with Wolfgang and Menzerna. Either one of those brands IMO are excellent brands and you will not be disappointed.

I find it hard to tell the 2 apart. They smell and look the same. They work the same. I mainly use the FG400, but I'm always getting the free sample of the Uber compound with my AG orders. You can almost get 2 mid size cars out of it if they're not too severely damaged.

I went and sprung for the FG400 in case the orange CCS pad didn't work with the TSR
