Do any of you know what this model is? I seen it on Craigs list and wondering if it's worth the investment.

From the color it looks like a Mytee. They make a lot of extractors, not just the automotive ones that are sold here. Go to their site and see if you can fine one that looks like that.

Here's a tip..

When attaching or even inserting pictures, hit the enter key to add a line space after your last typed words and once or twice after each attachment or picture.

This will force the pictures to line up vertically and add some "white space" in-between each pictures.

I edited the first post to show what this looks like.

AFAIK, Ninjas are made by Century 400. That machine looks a lot like this one: Mytee HP-100 GranPrix Hot Water Extractor FREE BONUS (http://www.autogeek.net/mytee-hp-100-carpet-extractor.html) and if so, paying $1750 for it would be a little foolish.

It's going to be pretty tough to determine what a fair price is if you don't even know the make/model of the machine.

I sold commercial grade carpet extractrs and floor scrubbers for quite a few years, that sounds like a lot for that machine, $1,750 would be too much. I wouldn't go over $800-$900. It's a Mytee M-5, selling it for a friend? Sounds like it's a HOT water extractor

This is why I ask you guys things like this. I really would not pay that much. I'll shoot him 750 take it or I'll just use what I got.

You are confusing the heck out of me. If you're going to "just use what I got" that means you already have an extractor? So why do you want another one? And it might not even be worth $750 if it's broken; do you know anything about the condition or why they are selling it?

I have had experiences with "friends" or relatives selling things for people...usually that means the thing is FUBAR and the person selling it can just plead innocence.

I have rug doctor. I was looking to upgrade later but this showed up on Craigslist. Just asking for your opinions on if I should take a look at it or move on. Isn't that what forum are for? Anyway he declined the offer so I'm going to just continue going with what I got.

Why not just buy a new Mytee 8070?

Take a filthy car with you and test it out when you go look at it.
