I keep mine in a zip loc bag under my driver seat. I then take it out to give the dashboard a quick wipe in between interior detail cleanups.

Good idea..

What about that dreaded - after wash - overnite rain/dew- morning sun- dried up - water spots ?

You cant wash every day or use detail spray...do you just drive and curse while looking at your hood..:buffing:

Waterless wash would be the safest, quickest solution, and only takes a few minutes if the car is rather clean.

I use the Duster. If used correctly it is great!! I do not put it back in its bag I threw that away. The strings hang better

Another user here, whatever is left behind after a light swipe gets taken off during the next wash.

Well my car is opti coated and I live in s Southern California, so it rarely rains over here. So I actually don't mind the dust accumulation on my cars paint, because I know it will easily wash off in 1 or 2 weeks with spray wax on top of opti coat to protect the paint. I've learned that actually letting your car dust up can be better than touching the paint every single day. Since you are not touching the paint, I'm sure having the car coated really helps too.

I do dread bird bombs though.

However, when I go to Meguiar's Garage they have jet black suv's and they are always waterless washing them. Those cars look flawless though so :dunno: :D !

I applied Opti Coat 8 months ago and it is still going strong like day 1, definitely worth the purchase.

I would never use one on a paint corrected car ever not worth the chance of marring or scratching the paint. All your doing is dragging dust and dirt over the paint.
