am having trouble with little balls of product slinging off pads when using swirl remover and finishing glaze with flex; am priming pad for first time use, then applying 2-3 small dots of product as mike suggests on his videos. any suggestions?

Try a little more product and/or reduce your speed. You could try adding one squirt of pad priming spray to the pad also (you can use clay lube for this if needed). Make sure the paint is cool to the touch also and you aren't working in the sun.

Spray a little QD after you have primed the pad. Hopefully that helps

What Speed is your FLEX set on?

What pad are you using with TSR?

What pad with WGFG?

How large of an area are you working?

How many passes on that area before you add product to the pad?

Are you cleaning your pad after each section?

Is it Hot & Dry outside when you are polishing?

iI know what you mean, i have the same issue sometimes. I always prime my pad with pad conditioner so i know thats not the problem. it maybe to much product or not cleaning pad after each section.

The little balls being formed and spit out while you buff is usually a sign of too much product.

This can be too much product or the right amount of product but not cleaning the gunk off the face of the pad. So the gunk mixes with the fresh product and now you have too much "substance" on the face of the pad.

Get a nylon brush and scrape it across the face of the pad after each section you buff. Do this with the machine turned off, not on. Keep it simple.

thanks to all for ur suggestions; mabe its the heat, already bout 95 degrees here in dallas; also might be using too much product;spd 5-6 for flex with wg swirl remover and spd 4 for finishing glaze; will try less product and cleaning after each section; going 5-6 passes for each product
